Training and Education
The mission of the Training and Education Unit (T&E) is to provide quality financial education, training, and tools that will allow consumers to make informed financial decisions. Our goal is to give consumers confidence when dealing with representatives from the financial services industry, and have confidence in the decisions they make about their finances. We are committed to continuous research and the integration of sound accounting and finance principles into all T&E products.
Directed Dollars Publishing company was started in 2003. During the early years, Professor Bill led numerous workshops and seminars on a variety of personal finance topics as discussed in his book Leveraged to the Hilt?. The interest was so great that Professor Bill decided to set up a separate Training and Education Unit. Instructors, who have obtained their MBA and completed a rigorous training program facilitated by Professor Bill, staff this unit.
The current workshops include:
· Early Career Financial Planning
· Mid-Career Financial Planning
· Pre-Retirement Financial Planning
Several other courses are in development and will be offered in 2009.
