Near-Term Pre-Retirement Planning Program

Individuals with two years or less to retirement should enroll in this program. We will offer six hours of individual counseling. This program is currently under development and should be available sometime during the first quarter of 2009. Check back frequently.

Capital Budgeting

Companies cannot grow unless they have projects that generate more cash than they cost. The major costs to be recovered are operating and capital. Key employees are often assigned to the capital budgeting process without a clue as to its working. The purpose of this course is to provide exposure to the key subjects of the capital budgeting planning process. Students will have exposure to important concepts such as cash flows, pro forma statements, NPV and branding to name just a few. At the end of the course students break in to small teams and tackle a business class and in the final week, present their recommendations to a business case. The major modules and topic hours are as follows:
